Boba Fett Looks A Lot Like Darth Vader

Another notch in the post of journalists who cannot seem to find the fact-checking skills so important to the breed or for those just waking out of that 30 year old coma.
Click

OK. I might give a little benefit of the doubt, or a teeny bit of credit, to the person who might interchange Jango and Boba Fett...at least for going down the right path. But this, one of the most iconic figures on the face of the planet called...Boba Fett? I guess they also didn't realize that Boba Fett wasn't even IN Revenge of the Sith.

Even my 92 year old grandfather and my 3 year old son could say with utmost certainty that the figure standing next to the lovely Donna Dixon was not Boba Fett.

*sigh* ..it really is funny.

Very true,

It has been said uncountable times across a wide range of media ever since the 1977 premiere of this most seminal movie that DARTH VADER had become the most iconic and well known movie villain. That he was the symbol and the paramount celluloid version of evil ever to appear on the big screen.

Even for those people who don't like the movies, who don't watch them, and really want nothing to do with them can generally identify Darth Vader.

Yet we are dealing with the media here, a group well known for printing biased, unfounded and sometimes completely bloody wrong information and wanting us to swallow it.

You can imagen that can't you,
Doctor: I'm pleased to say Mrs Fett that you've given bith to a lovely baby girl.
nurse: What are you going to call it?
Mrs Fett: I was thinking somewhere along the lines of Boba....

Maybe the caption writer was completely uninterested about this story because they were also working on a much more important project. Like how the greatest thing to ever come out of Hollywood is a gay cowboy movie. Or more Tom Cruise bashing.

hehe, a small part of me believes that there are those out there who intend to get these sorts of facts wrong, just to annoy our fanbase. They know how touchy we are about it all. lol

That is so sad, these people need to get a life! Fancy not knowing who our Dark Lord is!
Honestly, after 30 years of SW references you'd think Yahoo would have an idea!

Um, yeah. They just don't frequent those 'dorky' Star Wars sites, I mean, why bother when you can just guess?

Well, he's got a helmet...and a cape...must be Fett!
