CONAN: Red Nails

CONAN: RED NAILS - one of Robert E. Howard's most famous novellas, is in the midst of filming now. It's an animated feature, the first for Conan.A few familiar faces will be voicing characters for the upcoming film.In addition to Hellboy star Ron Perlman (Cimmeria), CSI star Marg Helgenberger (Princess Tascela) and X-Men star James Marsden (Techotl) there will be three Star Wars related actors lending their voice talents to roles:
Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) - Tolkemec the Undead
A quote from the official site: "In a city of unspeakable evil, his crimes may be the greatest. And like his undead corpse, they cannot be contained by a burial mound."
Clancy Brown (Montross in Star Wars: Bounty Hunter vg) - Olmec Prince of Techultli
Cree Summer (Luminara Unduli in Clone Wars; Princess Kneesa in Ewoks) - Valeria of the Red Brotherhood

I'm sure as time passes and we get closer to the release date (summer of 2006) we will encounter more Star Wars related actors.I'm looking forward to this.
Anything with dragons.

Enjoy!

Wow, I'd heard whispers about this one but didn't know it was close to being started. That sounds cool in the extreme, especially if they get the Barry Windsor Smith style going - then it could slay all competition.
And dragons rule - it's why I laugh at Sharon Osbourne...

Yes. Don't know if you saw the site...Conan: Red Nails...not quite BWS but Conan's pretty close. I love his work, partly because he did so many Pre-Raphaelite style works which I LOVE.

I'm a dragon...well, born in the year of the dragon. I fell in love with Smaug in 1973.

BWS was a genius, and never did get enough work out there (got an autographed Uncanny X-Men 205, the one with Wolvie going through the Weapon X programme, and a 198 (I think) with Storm - awesome stuff, back in the 80's when the X-Men were extra special)
No comment on Smaug!
