Gosh, I had no idea that Johnny Weismuller Jr. was involved in Star Wars. Now I see he must have been in the Ewoks Battle for Endor.

Funny coincidence what with Endor, Ewoks and Nien Nunb.... My grandmother's cousin was Maureen O'Sullivan, who played Jane to Mr. Weismuller's Tarzan.

How about that?

Hi Mike!
It's amazing how many people worked on Star Wars stuff. I thought it was pretty cool that Weissmuller had done something related since I'd watched Tarzan so much as a child.

AH!! How cool is it that 'Jane Parker' is related to you!? I love Maureen O'Sullivan (The Thin Man!), loved Tarzan.

Talk about a big connected world.

Did you know that the Chimpanzee that Ms. Sullivan worked with in Tarzan is still living? Right here in the Coachella Valley. Cheeta is 74 years old!

Gosh.. Cheeta Primate sanctuary... that's really cool!
... oh wait... I got it wrong... I think I'm related to Cheeta (just kidding).

Anyway, the Quinn's and O'Sullivans all came from a little town called Boyle in County Roscommon. My dad wrote to her years ago and she wrote him back, which was nice. Would have been nice ot have met her. so I guess I'm still related to Mia Farrow (who the song Dear Prudence was written about) and at some point along the way, Frank Sinatra, Andre Previn and Woody Allen thanks to her assorted marriages

Funny old world ain't it?

LOL Well, if we looked hard enough we'd all find ourselves related!!

I have a few ancestors (MacDonald) from County Roscommon but not from Boyle and so long ago nobody would know except for those of us who dug it all up.

I had no idea about "Dear Prudence", heh, I'm going to listen to that again. Sinatra. Man you're loaded with stuff!

Yep, funny place!
