Photo of Mr. Gardner from TheCastingNetwork.co.uk.

Salo Gardner (Gartner) was born in Czechoslovakia around 1936.
Gardner was one child, of 669, who was saved by Sir Nicholas Winton, the man who rescued mostly Jewish children from Czechoslovakia via Kindertransport with eight separate trainloads over nine months in 1939. Gardner was three years old and recalls waving goodbye to his family.

Gardner went into publishing in his 20s and was working in London when someone approached him and asked him if he'd ever considered working in the film industry.

Gardner died on December 2, 2018.
