Richard LeParmentier

Richard LeParmentier (né Edgar F. Richard Le Parmentier) was born to Edgar Ernest LeParmentier and Maureen T. LeParmentier (from Guernsey, England and County Mayo, respectively) on July 16, 1946 near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and grew up on a dairy farm.
He was still in his teens when he moved to Hollywood, Florida where he joined the drama department. After graduating from high school he traveled, when he returned he registered at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI where he earned a BFA in English and Drama in 1970.
By 1975 he had relocated to the UK to act and write.

LeParmentier married actress Sarah Douglas (Ursa in Superman) in 1981, but they divorced in 1984. His second wife was Cheryl LeParmentier and they had three children, Rhiannon, Stephanie, and Tyrone. LeParmentier and Cheryl were divorced.

LeParmentier made his home in Bath, England, but died on April 15, 2013 in Austin, Texas while visiting his children.
